IPMA President Roberto Mori announced, on April 16, 2012, the appointment of Amin Saidoun as IPMA’s Executive Director. In a process that spanned more than a year, IPMA Executive Board members worked with key Member Association leaders to define the role, review the many applicants recommended by an executive search firm, narrow the candidates, and make the final selection of IPMA’s first Executive Director.
Mr. Amin Saidoun, a German-Algerian, holds a degree in economics and business administration. He worked in a consulting and auditing company in Düsseldorf (Germany) before joining Deutsche Post/DHL where he took over consulting and commercial activities and responsibilities in the field of international relations with large organisations such as World Bank, Universal Postal Union and PostEurope).
During his last position, he was Head of Administration of an international non-profit organisation in the field of fundamental research (Institut- Max von Laue –Langevin) based in Grenoble (France). Amin is married and has two children.
