Successful projects require successful people. To recognise this, in addition to honoring each year’s wealth of Project Excellence candidates, IPMA honours individuals in a several key categories:
- Outstanding overall contribution to IPMA Awards, with the Otto Zieglmeier Award.
- The Young Research Award, also managed with the IPMA Research Management Board.
- Noteworthy Research, in a range of Research Awards; we manage this Award together with the IPMA Research Management Board.
- IPMA Research Achievement Award: A Researcher is honoured for his/her oevre in project management research. The application of interdisciplinary projects is encouraged. Per nomination only.
- The Young Project Manager Award, recognising today’s new leaders; we manage this Award together with the IPMA Young Crew Board.
