IPMA Delta assessment is one major milestone in our process; to provide a clear and holistic view for the management and the whole organization and to give us perspective to choose the next target areas for PPPM development.”, says Mats SöderlundDirector, Energy & CivilThe PMO at Citec was started in 2012 to support the project business and develop the organisational PPPM processes and competencies. As the company has continued its global growth, the demands for the PMO have emerged towards solving more global issues. The structure of the PMO needs to become more and more networked and it has to reflect how the overall Citec’s project portfolio is driven. Director PMO, Kaj Björkqvist: “The prework for IPMA Delta assessment gave us already some fresh ideas to evaluate. We feel that the combination of different angles in the Delta assessment digs up the reliable scenery for our next development steps. The value in IPMA Delta analysis and the Final Report is in its “rude” simplicity. Out of the complexity we now see three major action points to focus in, each clearly supporting the others. The road map is clear; the route to raise our performance and competence is a matter of our own will and decisions”.
