As Director of the Project Management Department of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol Gerard is responsible for delivering projects to the whole of the Schiphol Group. The airport runs a complex project portfolio of hundreds of projects in the field of civil infrastructure, real estate, security, maintenance and so on.
As a director of project management Gerard has a broad experience in the field of project portfolio management in several companies, such as transavia.com (airline industry) and ABN AMRO (banking/finance).
He has been chairman of the Dutch Association for Project Management (IPMA-NL) and member of the board of IPMA for several years.
