The IPMA Education and Training Board is responsible for our involvement in academic education and learning programmes, and for professional training and development programmes. As well, Education and Training supports other IPMA areas, including Certification, Awards, Membership, and Research.

A key challenge facing all PM practitioners is to assure that their PM learning and training efforts and costs actually return the intended benefits. We all face this challenge, whether the purpose of the learning is individuals’ career development, their certification, or for increased project or programme success, or for improved performance of the sponsoring organizations. The goal of IPMA Education and Training, together with IPMA Competence Baseline, our framework for relevant learning, is to assist all our Member Associations and their stakeholders, to succeed in this challenge.
